According to BP's Adjusted Standings, the Brewers should be 14-8 and leading the Central. Accordingly, they're given a 45% chance of making the playoffs, which jumps to 50% when PECOTA projections are taken into account.
That means that not only are the Brewers getting unlucky, they've not yet maximized their potential for unluckiness.
